- NSF/ANSI 61 is the standard for drinking water system components — including coatings — that contact potable water. Using a coating without NSF-61 certification in a potable water application creates regulatory and public health risk. - Can you work in an operational facility without taking it fully offline?
- Yes. We routinely work in operational water treatment facilities by coordinating with operators to isolate individual process units, filter cells, or chambers while the rest of the plant remains in service. Detailed method statements and safety plans are prepared for each phase.
- Can coatings be applied to wet or damp concrete?
- Some systems, including moisture-tolerant epoxies and polyurethane injection grouts, are specifically formulated for application to damp or wet concrete. Surface preparation method is adjusted accordingly. We do not apply standard epoxy coatings to wet surfaces — proper product selection for the actual substrate condition is fundamental to our process.
